Transcript Requests:

Winter 2008 Quarter: Transcripts available starting March 29, 2008 - Not earlier.

Spring 2008 Quarter: Transcripts available starting June 21, 2008 - Not earlier.

Summer 2008 Quarter: Transcripts available starting Sept 5, 2008 - Not earlier.

Fall 2008 Quarter: Transcripts available starting Dec 14, 2008 - Not earlier.

Requests for official PSU transcripts must be made in writing and delivered in person or by US mail, private carrier, or fax. Email requests are not accepted. Or call 503-725-3401, toll-free 1-800-547-8887 ext 3401.

Order a transcript by mail: Requests for transcripts must be by written, signed letter that includes name, address, SSN, PSU Student ID Number and DOB. In the letter request an official transcript and enclose payment and mail to:

Students may submit a written request to the address or fax number above. Include in the request:

full name
current mailing address & telephone number
PSU student ID/SSN
any previous names of record
approximate dates of attendance
date of birth
any PSU degree earned and the degree date
the complete address(es) to which the official transcript(s) should be mailed
the number of transcripts to send to each address
signature (unsigned requests are not processed)

Requests are normally processed within 5 working days. Incomplete information may result in processing delays.

When submitting the form or a letter request via mail or fax, payment should accompany the request. Include a check, made payable to Portland State University, or credit card number (Visa or MasterCard only) and expiration date. Please do not send cash in the mail. If payment is not received, the request will be processed and a bill sent to the student.

Transcript Fees:

Official: $4.00 each
Paper copy of unofficial: $4.00 each

Special Handling Fees:

(in addition to the transcript fees)

Rush Fee (request processed within 24 hours of receipt): $10.00
Fax: $10.00
Federal Express (must be specifically ordered as Federal Express): $25 in the United States.
The charge for international Federal Express depends on which country.
