Description:  This course is designed to teach basic TI-83+/TI-84+ calculator skills for the statistics classroom and the use of the internet for instructional purposes. The content will explore topics including summary statistics for data, weighted mean, linear regression, correlation, probability computations, stat plots, binomial distribution, normal distribution, central limit theorem and generating random numbers. The topics and methods are aligned with the Principles and Standards for School Mathematics (NCTM 2000).   Participants engage in real-world activities using the TI-83+/TI-84+ calculator that they can immediately use in the classroom.

2. Course Workbook

3. TI-83+, TI-84+ or TI-83+ Silver Graphing Calculator (not included in materials)
