Description: This course is designed to teach TI-83+/84+ calculator skills for the Pre-Calculus classroom.

Methods align with the Principles and Standards for School Mathematics (NCTM 2000). Explore new and

innovative  ways of teaching by engaging in real-world activities that can immediately be used in the classroom.

Topics included are functions, inverses, transformations, composition of functions, absolute value functions, polynomials, inequalities, logarithmic, power and exponential functions, piece-wise functions, systems of equations, trig functions and identities, periodic data, polar graphs, parametric equations, curve fitting, conic sections, complex numbers, vectors, velocity

graphs, data analysis, and other topics. Some topics are also applicable to the Advanced Algebra and College Algebra classrooms.
